Voxel Destruction 2 — Console and VR Controls
Content subject to update as VOXEL DESTRUCT 2 develops.
Playing with a Controller
Roblox on console uses a standardized controller layout. VD2 adapts via Roblox mappings: left stick to walk, right stick for camera, triggers for contextual actions.
Aim assist is limited compared to mouse precision. Favor area tools and structural weak points rather than pixel-perfect cuts when using a gamepad.
- Left stick — Movement
- Right stick — Camera
- A / Cross — Jump
- B / Circle — Roblox menu or back
- RT / R2 — Primary tool action (Roblox binding dependent)
- D-pad or LB/RB — Tool change if configured
Console Specifics
Console performance is generally below a mid-range PC but stable. Reduce destruction scale to maintain 30–60 FPS depending on platform.
Install the experience on internal storage when possible. Slow external drives can extend load times for heavy voxel maps.
- Graphics Settings — lower Roblox quality on console
- Fix Lag — tips if the controller becomes unresponsive
Virtual Reality
Roblox VR (PC, compatible headsets) renders the interface in 3D. VD2 in VR offers unique immersion for destruction, but the intensive voxel engine can cause performance and comfort issues.
Keep sessions short when large collapses trigger rapid motion. Some players report discomfort when debris rains down at close range.
- VR controllers — Movement and manipulation per Roblox VR profile.
- Short sessions recommended to limit cybersickness during rapid collapses.
- High-end PC preferred — VR doubles rendering load.
- Device Requirements — recommended PC VR hardware
Current Limitations
VD2 early access is not optimized specifically for every console or VR platform. Sensitivity and binding adjustments may be needed after each Roblox update.
