Voxel Destruction 2 — PC Controls
Content subject to update as VOXEL DESTRUCT 2 develops.
Basic PC Setup
On PC, Voxel Destruction 2 uses Roblox standards for movement and camera, plus VD2-specific destruction tools. A precise mouse dramatically improves aiming during voxel cutting.
The desktop Roblox client is strongly recommended over browser play. Input latency and frame pacing are more stable, which matters when the engine subdivides voxels in real time.
Movement and Camera
- W / A / S / D — Move forward, left, backward, right
- Space — Jump
- Shift — Sprint (if enabled in the experience)
- Mouse — Aim camera
- Scroll wheel — Zoom in / out
- Right-click held — Free camera rotation (classic Roblox mode)
Tools and Interaction
Destruction tools may vary across early access updates. Common voxel sandbox conventions generally apply on PC:
Practice switching tools quickly. Different materials respond better to specific instruments, and structural collapse often depends on hitting the right support with the right tool.
- Left click — Use active tool (fire, cut, hammer)
- Keys 1–9 — Quick-select tools from the action bar
- R — Rotate tool or reset view (context-dependent)
- F — Interact with objects or toggle mode
- Voxel Destruction — understand how each tool affects structures
Optimizing the PC Experience
Use the Roblox desktop client rather than a browser for better performance. Plug in a wired mouse if you notice stutter during rapid destruction.
Disable overlays (Discord, GeForce Experience) if input conflicts appear. Full-screen mode can also reduce display latency on some systems.
- Graphics Settings — recommended settings for the PC client
- Fix Lag — if controls feel stuttery
- Disable overlays (Discord, GeForce Experience) if input conflicts occur.
