Voxel Destruction 2 — Multiplayer Sessions
Content subject to update as VOXEL DESTRUCT 2 develops.
Server Capacity
VOXEL DESTRUCT 2 supports up to 16 concurrent players per experience instance according to Rolimon's place metadata and Roblox server listings. That matches typical Roblox sandbox caps but is far below Teardown's twelve-player dedicated servers with full mod support.
More players mean more simultaneous voxel breaks, debris replication, and physics load. Expect FPS dips during chain demolitions when a full server activates tools at once.

Public vs Private Sessions
Public servers expose you to random players, including executor users abusing client-trusted weapon flags documented in July 2026 exploit listings. Private or friends-only servers reduce chaos but still require each participant to own early access.
VDP offers free private servers with temporary admin — a social feature VD2 has not matched yet. For controlled co-op demolition, coordinate a friends session and agree on performance rules before large-scale breaks.
- Private Servers — VD2 hosting expectations
- Client Trust & Security — GlobalKeys exploit context
- Protect Performance — etiquette for group demolition
Co-op Demolition Tips
- Split roles — one player targets supports, another clears facades to avoid duplicate hits on the same voxel queue.
- Stagger large explosions instead of simultaneous detonations to protect server frame time.
- Use voice chat or Roblox party coordination before triggering structural collapse on shared buildings.
- Leave sessions if lag spikes persist — rejoining often clears stale debris state.
Future Multiplayer Roadmap
whatever_dev() has not announced Teardown-style co-op campaigns or competitive modes for VD2. Roadmap synthesis points to engine stability, build tools, and weld-based debris before social feature expansion.
Industry pressure rose after Teardown's March 2026 multiplayer launch — our Teardown modes reference explains what players compare against when judging VD2 sessions.
