Philosophy: Sustainable Destruction

VD2 is not a race to instant total destruction. The voxel engine needs time to subdivide, mesh, and clean. Playing with the engine rather than against it keeps experience smooth.

Think of performance as part of gameplay skill. The best demolitions look effortless because the player managed queue load, not because they spammed the strongest tool.

Golden Rules

  • One zone at a time — Finish one wing before attacking the next.
  • Pause after collapse — 5–10 seconds let server purge debris.
  • Avoid massive-area tools on modest hardware.
  • Step back physically — Subdivision prioritizes player neighborhood.
  • Fix Lag — if rules alone are not enough

Plan Before Demolishing

Identify the main structural failure point. One well-placed cut beats ten minutes of scattered fire — less load, more spectacle.

Preventive Configuration

Before an intensive session, apply low graphics preset, close background apps, and fully charge portable devices. Prevention beats recovering from a Roblox crash mid-demo.
